Android 4.3, is the fastest and smoothest version of Android yet. And it improves on the simplicity and beauty of Android 4.0, and introduces a new Google search experience on Android.

First, you must back up your Galaxy Note SGH-i717 information.
Google has your back. Go to Settings > Privacy, and make sure that “Back up my settings” and “Automatic restore” are checked off. With these settings in place, your contacts, system settings, apps, calendar, and e-mail will be restored whenever you set up a new Android phone with that same Gmail account.
Google hasn’t implemented a native photo backup service yet, so look to third-party apps to safeguard your photos. You might want to consolidate your mobile photos with those you already have stored in a cloud service. Flickr Companion and Picasa Tool are also free apps that allow mobile uploading but don’t do so automatically

The instructions for converting your Galaxy S2 into Webcam using the SmartCam App are as below:

Step 1

First you should download the Smartcam App from Google Play and install it in Galaxy S2 and also download the Desktop client from sourceforge.net and install it in your Desktop machine. You can stream video from the phones camera using Wi-Fi to your computer. It can be used for various purposes like Video chat, Surveillance, Security Monitor, Wi-Fi Cam, Webcam, video broadcasting etc.

If you are using the Smart Cam App, next, open the App on your Galaxy S2. Go to the Menu and select Settings from available options. If you have Wi-Fi connection in your home, provide the local IP of your computer and select TCP/IP Wi-Fi connection option. In case if you have Bluetooth in your Desktop, select that option after switching on Bluetooth in both devices. Now select your Desktop from list of available Bluetooth devices. If you are not sure about getting the IP of your computer, Go to Start -> Run and type cmd for opening the Command prompt. Now type ipconfig /all in the CLI window and you can view your computers IP on Wireless LAN Adapter.

Once you have connected the PC and your Galaxy S2 through either Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, start the Desktop client and make sure you have selected the same mode of preferred connection as your phone. Before that you can adjust the settings such as image resolution, video quality, frames per second etc. in the App.

How to take screenshots with Galaxy s2 ?

Take Screenshot with your Galaxy S2 is real easy. If yours is the Galaxy s2, heres what you need to do. Its a secret feature actually.

1. Be sure you are running on Galaxy S2.
2. When you are in the specific screen which you desire to take Screenshot, Carefully Press the Back button in right bottom and hold it. While holding Back button now press Home button in the middle. You will hear a capture sound and in moment it will appear Screen captured. Save as image file
3. Its that easy! Youll see a message appear on the screen that says Screenshot captured. Saved as image file. You can then go to your Galaxy s2 Gallery app to see the screenshots that you have captured in the ScreenCap folder. You can also find them by navigating to the /sdcard/ScreenCapture folder.
Note:
I say press ‘carefully’ because if you press the menu button a fraction too early, the screen will drop down to the menu. And if you press the side power button too early and not along with the menu button, the screen will lock. Its very hard getting used to.

How to root your HTC One

Before root the HTC oneyou must know the following

1. Not every phone can be rootedthen you must make sure other people can do it too.
2. Backup the phone, as unlocking the bootloader will reset everything.
3. Rooting voids your warranty.
4. In my experience that isn’t foolproof.

Following steps:

1, Go to http://www.htcdev.com/ and follow the instructions to get into bootloader mode. You will disconnect your HTC One from PC, turn it off, press and hold Volume Down and the Power button to access the Bootloader.

2, Use the volume keys to select fastboot mode, and select it with power. When HTC One does its thing, connect it to the PC again.

3, On your PC, go to the folder with all the ADB and Fastboot files and open a command prompt. Type fastboot devices and hit enter. The HTC One should show up as a device ID.

4, Enter fastboot oem get_identifier_token. This will spit out a big block of text, which you will then copy and paste into the HTC Dev site when it asks for it. Wait a bit, and HTC will send you the unlock token. Place it in the Fastboot folder.

5, With the HTC One still in Fastboot mode, type fastboot flash unlocktoken Unlock_code.bin. Now youre unlocked, so its time to root. Reboot the phone normally and download the SuperUser zip file from Koush. Transfer it to HTC One.

6, Download TWRP recovery for the HTC One and place it in the directory with your Fastboot and ADB files.

7, Open another command prompt and get your device back into Fastboot mode just like above. Type fastboot flash recovery twrp.img and hit enter.

8, Turn off the HTC One and turn it on in Bootloader mode by holding the Volume Down + Power button. Select Recovery and wait for HTC One to load.

9, In Recovery, go to install and select the SuperUser zip. The zip will flash, and thats it. Then your HTC One rooted.

How to free up RAM in Galaxy Nexus?

Galaxy Nexus is a very good android phone, but it hogs up a lot of memory by the running apps in the background.
Anyways, linux OS such as Android uses available RAM as much as possible and releases it if other apps requires it.
Below, I will introduce how to free up RAM in Galaxy Nexus.

Method One:
You need to move apps to the SD card from Galaxy Nexus. Most apps will work fine when moved to the SD card.

Method two:
Clearing the Galaxy Nexus RAM will just close and reset running apps. It is helpful to close some apps open and then let your system restart the needed apps.
It may help you run faster but for a short time as you use your phone and more apps remain open. After doing it your RAM usage will decrease temporarily, but it will go up again so probably not useful to do a lot.

Method three:
If you believe your Galaxy Nexus is running little sluggish, you can try clearing cache in the app management.
You can also clear an apps cache or data from its details screen to free up space. Clearing the cache clears an applications temporary files, while clearing data is more drastic. Clearing data will set your application back to its original state, deleting all your custom settings and data C for example, if I cleared data here, it would delete my saved notes.

Method four:
You can root your Galaxy Nexus, of course, you must ask in the Galaxy Nexus All Things Root forum. But yes, you can root and keep your stock ROM, and without installing invasive apps in the process.
If you rooted, there a plenty of apps or scripts you can run that allow you to change the thresholds for the native memory management. Or if you’re not rooted, the stock task manager does work.

Method five:
The best ways to free up Galaxy Nexus is “Uninstall Apps”.
If you dont use an app much, you’d better go to uninstall it. Even if youve purchased the app, you can re-download it from Google Play (formerly the Android Market). Sorting apps by their size is particularly useful when looking for apps to uninstall.

Method six:
You can also get your photos, videos, and other files off your Galaxy Nexus by connecting it to a computer with a USB cable.

Things you can do to save amsung Galaxy S Vibrant battery.
Don’t be updating email, facebook, weather automatically every 15 mins try either every half an hour or hour or manually.
Set you phone to sync contacts and stuff at night when it would be plugged in .
Turn 3g off if not actively using it-or you are in an area that it bounces 2g-3g and back that uses a ton of battery.
